I qualified as a solicitor in 2007. I have been a specialist Private Client solicitor with Birchall Blackburn Law for over a decade. Private client matters require sensitivity and attention to detail. These are personal and financial matters that will impact on your future and those of your family and loved ones. It is important to speak to an experienced solicitor whom you trust.
I have a wealth of experience within:
• Wills
• Probate
• Administration of estates
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection
• Elderly client services
My work with the older generation led to my appointment as Chair of the South Ribble Dementia Community Connection (SRDCC). The SRDCC is committed to transforming the quality of life of people living with dementia in South Ribble community. We also look to support people caring for friends or relatives with dementia. I am immensely proud of the role I play and all the work we do to help and support vulnerable people.
I decided on a career in law after I completed work experience at a local Solicitor’s practice whilst at school. I gained an insight into what a week in the life of a Solicitor was like and I was hooked. Initially, I wanted to specialise in Criminal Law, but during my training contract I was enticed into the Probate Department by the very wise head of the team, and I have never looked back.
I gained a law degree and a commendation in Legal Practice at York College of Law. I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, and the Law Society’s Private Client section.
Couldn’t do any better – very professional.
Excellent service – thank you.
Very satisfied.
Everything went well. I felt comfortable talking to the staff.
Anna Marie always courteous and patient.
All staff were very welcoming and polite. We felt very comfortable throughout and all questions were answered extremely well. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.
All staff are professional and courteous.
I can only say that I regard Anna Marie as a friend as much as my solicitor and I say that without detracting in any way from her professionalism.
