I recently used Birchall Blackburn for selling a house and buying another. Some of this happened during lockdown . Our solicitor/ conveyancer Andrea and her staff were excellent. They had to navigate all sorts of hurdles caused by lockdown conditions. Also, their web portal is good so you can upload documents instead of having to post them, so this seems to speed things up for being dealt with a lot faster than more paper-based conveyancers. I was impressed at the fact they managed to carry on working efficiently despite the difficulties it must have presented due to the pandemic. With the threat of houses falling through at that time speed was of the essence and I am so grateful for their efforts to get the purchase completed. I liked the fact you could ring / e-mail the conveyancer directly and not have to ring call handlers in contact centre as with some others.

I am extremely pleased with the communication and efficient service. Andrea Fairweather was excellent with her correspondence and explanations of the different paperwork requirements. This meant our house move was stress free with regard to the legalities. Andrea was keen to ensure we understood all aspects and was very professional in her approach.
